Jewellery & Bead Artist

Inspired by living in Cornwall, and drawing on its natural beauty and constantly changing landscape, I combine the knowledge gained over many years as a therapist with my understanding of colour as an artist. I use the power of colour to evoke emotion, move and excite. I find glass such a perfect medium to express my passion for colour. I design each bead individually and handcraft them. I use efftre glass rods which are manufactured on the island of Murano, Venice, Italy. When glass beads are made using a torch, internal stresses can form. Removing the stress is called 'annealing' and is easily accomplished using a kiln. My beads are all annealed.
